Stay Supported with Noom: Family Plan & Supportive Partner Course

Overview

Your success is better shared. Whether you want to take the journey with a loved one or simply have someone cheering you on, Noom offers two options to help you stay supported:

  • The Family Plan (US Only), which allows you to add a second person to your Noom Weight plan at a reduced rate.
  • The Supportive Partner Course, a free resource that helps a friend or family member understand your journey and support you with confidence.

What to Know

  • The Family Plan is available to users in the U.S. on iOS devices and only supports Noom Weight subscriptions.
  • Accounts in a Family Plan are private and separate, but only the primary user can manage billing or cancel the subscription.
  • The Supportive Partner Course is free and sent via email at signup—but you can share it later if needed.

What to Do

Add a Family Member During Signup

  • Choose the Family Plan during signup when prompted.
  • Enter your family member’s email address.

Add a Family Member After Signup (iOS Only)

  1. Open the Noom app.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top left.
  3. Tap Noom Together.
  4. Select Switch to Family Plan.

Add a Supportive Partner During Signup

  1. At the Accountability Buddy screen, enter your supporter’s name and email.
  2. Tap Next to send them the course via email.

Share the Supportive Partner Course Later

  • Forward the course email you received to another person you’d like to add as a supporter.
  • If the original supporter didn’t receive the email, check spam/promotions folders or resend it yourself.

Q: What happens if I cancel my Family Plan?
A: Canceling your Family Plan will cancel both users’ subscriptions. There’s no way to separate the accounts. Let your secondary user know ahead of time.

  • If they want to continue, they can re-sign up within 6 days using the same email and pick up where they left off.

Q: Can a secondary user cancel their subscription?
A:
Only the primary user can cancel the Family Plan. If you’re a secondary user and no longer wish to participate, you can stop using the app and ask the primary user to update the plan.

Q: What if I’m on Noom Med and want the Family Plan?
A:
The Family Plan is only available with Noom Weight. You’d need to cancel Noom Med and re-sign up for Noom Weight to access it.
